The Conference Committee for the Southern Currents Joint ALLG / NZLLA Conference, requested that the executives of the two bodies consider the issue of accepting conference sponsorship.
The executives of both the ALLG and NZLLA discussed in some depth the possible issues raised by acceptance of sponsorship. Each association has confirmed that sponsorship is handled professionally, and that it has no influence upon the conference programme. The ALLG and the NZLLA welcome sponsorship from publishers and other interested parties, and are grateful for the support, which enables fees to be kept lower and accordingly the conference more accessible to our members.
Any questions on sponsorship principles should be directed to the Executives of the ALLG or NZLLA.
